Chris Brown

Chris Brown's Foot in Mouth Syndrome

By now you've heard about Chris Brown's online rage filled fight with Raz-B Click here if you missed it.

CB has finally sent his apology to TMZ :

“Yesterday was an unfortunate lack in judgment sparked by public Twitter attacks from Raz B, who was bent on getting attention.  Words cannot begin to express how sorry and frustrated I am over what transpired publicly on Twitter.  ”I have learned over the past few years to not condone or represent acts of violence against anyone.  Molestation and victims of such acts are not to be taken lightly; and for my comments I apologize – from the bottom of my heart.

I love all of my fans, gay and straight. I have friends from all walks of life and I am committed, with God's help, to continue becoming a better person."

-Chris Brown

Notice what he apologizes for.

Chris Brown seems to have the most acute “open mouth very wide & proceed to insert foot/feet” syndrome. People usually say what they mean & mean what they say especially when done repeatedly & purposefully as in this case/twitter rant. CB has a lot of work to do. He has single-handedly created this new hurdle in his career by reverting to anger & rage as a way of dealing with life's conflicts. The original comment/bait from Ratz-B was mild if factual, CB CHOSE to get angry and get nasty, notice how Eric Bennett also in the original comment said nothing, ignored it? that's what a mature man does. CB will forever in his life have this Rihanna thing hanging over him, he best get used to it and own it up or else he's going to be raging over any mention of it for a long time..

Chris Brown's hissy fit “Major stores blackballing my CD! Industry can kiss my ass!”

Chris “beater” Brown decided to take to twitter and throw a hissy fit about his dismal album sales… as you can see below…

This kid really thinks every store in America is going out of their way to hide his cds? And fuck the industry?

Spoilt little brat indeed…considering the only promotion he did was talking about Rihanna in interviews and worse that HE BEAT HER UP so bad he really thought his album was going to do so well? Its called concequences, Chris Brown needs to take his bratty little ass and seat it down somewhere…

Someone in the mean time needs to tap CB's shoulder and remind him to not bite the hand that feeds his bratty ass, he ain't all that and they really are going to black ball his ass for real now…

5…4…3........2… before his PR and lawyers call him and get him to walk back his little hissy fit…

Rihanna on GMA part 2 more details on the Chris Brown incident (Video)

Part Two: Rihanna on GMA. Full interview on 20/20 tonight (Friday) with the debut of her newest video as well.

On what she was thinking during the event: “All I kept thinking the whole time – when’s it going to stop? He had no soul in his eyes. Just blank. He was clearly blacked out. There was no person when I looked at him.”

On wanting to protect Chris: “I had to protect him. I thought that I had to let him know, don’t do anything crazy. Like just hang in there…The whole world hates him now. His fans, his career. He just, he lost me, I just need to let him know; don’t do anything stupid …I’m not saying that’s an excuse for me to go back, but this is what I was thinking about.”

On their future together: “I don’t have a desire at all to be with him… I can’t see how we … would get back together, but I’m also not God and I can’t predict the future.”

Rihanna: Embarrassed I was in love with THAT type of person (Chris Brown)

Here's Rihanna's first interview on GMA. Very brave, very candid, incredibly proud of her.

Quote of the day: “That's embarrassing, that that's the type of person that I fell in love withRihanna on Chris Brown. Fuck love indeed.

Rihanna looks great, is candid, honest and brave in this interview, fighting back tears as she realises what an impact she has on young girls but also out of the shear embarrassment of her situation and actions.

RiRi's PR team is incredible, they know what they're doing and doing it perfectly. I'm glad RiRi took her time to really look at the issue, deal with it and then finally talk about it. It teaches young girls that they should not stay in abusive relationships.

Chris Brown and his greedy label on the other hand have so far been “using” Rihanna‘s release and promotion for their benefit so far by releasing his promo almost syncronized with RiRi’s:

she gives an interview(Glamour/ABC), he does the same(MTV/Giant), she releases album cover he does(happened a day apart), she releases promo pictures soon her after his come out too(again just hours apart)… right down to album track listing etc..... his label is clearly thinking it was working for them. CB “talked” to MTV, reported by People Magazine and his label moved his album release up to Dec 8th release.

After RiRi's ABC & 20/20 interviews I wonder CB's label will still be thinking its smart strategy to be pushing out a “so far not very contrite in my opinion” CB promoting his album. Shouldn't it have been better to let him finish his court mandated sentence; community service work and hard labor, finish his anger management counciling and really address those issues.......and only then come out with an album and make his rounds talking about his issues, what he's learned and teaches other young men from his issues?

Rihanna Update! Finally Opens up about Chris Brown Beating; New music video and more

Rihanna is the Glamour Woman of the Year. Along with that award, she was interviewed for an article and she opened up for the first time about the Chris Brown abuse incident. She looks hot on the cover, love that she has curves…

On the Chris Brown incident:
Glamour: Let's talk about this past year-you've obviously been through some difficult things. How did the people around you help you cope?

Rihanna: My friends and family have been extremely supportive, and everyone has been there for me. But at some point you are there alone. It's a lonely place to be-no one can understand. That's when you get close to God.

Glamour: Are you referring to the [Chris Brown] incident?

Rihanna: I am talking about starting with the night [before] the Grammys and then on. That was not the only thing that occurred this year. The picture leaking…it was one thing after another.

Glamour: You're talking about the photo [reportedly of Rihanna's injured face taken by police after Brown assaulted her] that was allegedly leaked by cops. You handled that so well; you kept silent in the press.

Rihanna: It was humiliating; that is not a photo you would show to anybody. I felt completely taken advantage of. I felt like people were making it into a fun topic on the Internet, and it's my life. I was disappointed, especially when I found out the photo was [supposedly leaked by] two women.

Glamour: Do you feel that this experience has laid the groundwork for coping with anything so public again?

Rihanna: It has taught me so much. I felt like I went to sleep as Rihanna and woke up as Britney Spears. That was the level of media chaos that happened the next day. It was like, What, there are helicopters circling my house? There are 100 people in my cul-de-sac? What do you mean, I can't go back home?

Glamour: If you could offer a message to the millions of young women who look up to you, what would you tell someone who found herself in a similar situation?

Rihanna: Domestic violence is a big secret. No kid goes around and lets people know their parents fight. Teenage girls can't tell their parents that their boyfriend beat them up. You don't dare let your neighbor know that you fight. It's one of the things we [women] will hide, because it's embarrassing. My story was broadcast all over the world for people to see, and they have followed every step of my recovery. The positive thing that has come out of my situation is that people can learn from that. I want to give as much insight as I can to young women, because I feel like I represent a voice that really isn't heard. Now I can help speak for those women.
On her being a fashion icon:
Glamour: Now let's talk about your success in the world of fashion: You have become a fashion icon practically overnight. What does it mean to you as a performer, as a creative person, as a way to celebrate who you are?

Rihanna: Fashion for me is another way I get to express myself creatively. It is one of the fun things I get to do: to play dress-up, and create outfits and looks that aren't typical. I am an artist, so I like creating things. Shoes are my favorite thing.

Glamour: Your look has evolved from the beginning of your career.

Rihanna: In the first two years of my career, there were a lot of restraints on what I could do. I couldn't wear certain colors of lipstick, like bright pink, dark pink or red; [my lips] had to be natural. Eventually, I stopped communicating with certain people at the label, and did exactly what I wanted to do. And that was to cut my hair, dye it black, change my clothes, change my sound. Really to just express myself.

Glamour: Let's talk about that famous hair of yours. Your cut now is even called “The Rihanna” in salons!

Rihanna: Yeah, we cut it into a bob for the [Good Girl Gone Bad album] cover shoot, but then I went even shorter for the NRJ Music Awards [in January 2008]. My hairdresser just said, “I don't feel like doing your hair anymore-I want to cut it.” I was like, Finally!
ummm pause it for a moment.. I know RiRi means well but her “image” was crafted carefully by her label, I be willing to bet on that…it was done specifically for Good Girl Gone Bad promotion (given the title and the music). Didn't her stylist the one who cut her hair talk about that change? RiRi may have suggested or pointed out outfits she liked and yes she is probably right she was so contrainted at the beggining but I am less inclined to believe the “I made the change” claim however it works in continueing to promote the “Good to Bad girl” rebel image that she's been going for these last 2 years.
Glamour: Is it too early for you to think, I want to be in love, I want to have a family? Is that too far down the road?

Rihanna: I hope I find love in the next 10 years-that will be pretty annoying if I am 31 and still have never been in love! But yeah, I'd like to be in a great place in both my personal life and my career. I still want to be doing what I love. Whatever that is in 10 years, I don't know. I've put everything I've wanted to say for the past eight months into my music. [My new album] is super fearless-which is exactly how I feel right now. I am in a really good place."
never been in love? I'm sure in the Diane Sawyer interview on ABC she did say Chris was her first big love… for more of the Glamour interview click here its a good read.

Rihanna will be on ABC GMA Thursday and Friday and then on 2020 Friday night. And, according to the network, RiRi apparently goes into detail about the beating she received at the hands of Chris Brown whom she calls “my first big love”.

In further RIRI news… here's her video for Wait your Turn/Wait is Over.

This video reminds me of the Jay-Z/Kanye/RiRi Run this Town video, nice cinematography, the black and white is cool… however seems to be a pointless, storyless video.. Just RiRi walking around, modeling different looks in black and white… she does look HOT though.
