Jay-Z & Rihanna‘s “Run This Town” pre-game mash-up was an epic win. Jay in a suit, how far he’s come from drug dealer to great business man to not looking bad in suit! The clips spliced to make the 2–3minute video got you in the mood for the game, what makes this special however is the addition of the Rutgers University’s orchestra and the drum sequence. Very Well Done.

Now if only Canada/Vancouver and the Olympics crew could have come up with something similar this instead of their gratingly boring “Do You Believe?” campaign… every time we see those ads we scream at the TV...... No I don't &#! believe..!

Janet Jackson graces the next cover of Gotham magazine. She, talks about Michael Jackson, her new album and even a new book that she's soon to be releasing. Highlights:

On what she’s taken from Michael’s death:

“When you hear people say life goes on, it’s really the truth. You can’t stop living. It becomes a part of you. I feel a bit selfish because there are times I feel I shouldn’t be doing this, but I enjoy my work and I have to keep doing it. I have to keep my life going. There are days that are harder than others.”

On her New Year’s resolutions:

“I want to learn a language. I haven’t decided which, but it’s between French, Spanish and Italian. I also want to get
closer to God.”

On her new album:

“It’s going to be a little different. The writing is about life experiences. There’s a part of me that’s craving escapism, which is a sense of wanting to keep on moving with my work but also of coming to terms with reality. So I think it will be upbeat and light.”

On her new book:

“I hope it’s inspiring for all ages. I’m talking about weight loss, confidence, self-esteem—especially in your youth. It’s not an autobiography, but there are little anecdotes that I give here and there from my childhood all the way to the present that I thought would be interesting and helpful to share.”

“Everything. I love the energy–the creative energy. I’ve been here for 12 years and I will be here for the rest of my life.”

By now the whole world knows that Michael Jackson was set up and screwed by a vindictive District Attorney out for revenge and a deranged drifter family for their greed. The FBI has released a 300 page dossier they had on Michael Jackson that chronicles their involvement in the MJ cases. Some of the files are redacted to take out names and sensitive information, the rest of the information talks about a psycho/crazy stalker who was obsessed with Michael Jackson's sister Janet Jackson and was threatening to kill Michael Jackson and later threatened to kill president George H. W. Bush and a nugget that suggests the FBI worried terrorists would bomb the trial as a soft target. You can read the FBI documents here

A Year Before 2005 Trial FBI Found Nothing on Michael Jackson’s Computers

The FBI files on Michael Jackson show a concerted effort by the Santa Barbara District Attorney’s office to convict the pop star for child molestationin 2003–2005.

The DA even brought in the FBI for assistance. But the Bureau’s examination of all the computers seized from Neverland found nothing in April 2004 — ten months before Jackson’s trial. They went through a bunch of computers seized at the ranch, and ran “keyword searches” through them, looking for kiddie pornography. They came up with 18 pages of nothing.

Michael’s defense attorney Thomas Mesereau expressed surprise to me about the FBI files yesterday. “I never saw them,” he said. “Shouldn’t they have shared them with me?”

It didn’t matter. Mesereau’s masterful handling of the case got Michael acquitted of all charges in his 2005 child molestation/conspiracy case. But why did the DA go ahead with the case at all if the FBI turned up nothing?

Mesereau told me: “They heard all these stories, they read stories in the tabloids, there was the 1993 case. They had to proceed. Plus DA Tom Sneddon had gotten legislation passed since the first case making it impossible not to go ahead. And he did it because of Michael.”

Jackson was innocent of those charges. Whatever else happened to Michael Jackson in life, he was set up by Janet Arvizo to take a fall. Luckily, several people stepped in to save Michael.

I guess if you are an entertainer but with no real singing talent, nakedness is all you have left to sell albums? Rihanna and her management are determined for you to see EVERYTHING she's got, first it was the pantyless shot on her “HARD” CD cover now its her boobs and even more sexual suggestions for magazine covers. Reminds me of Britney's pantyless ass picture on the cover of Rolling Stone a while back.

RiRi can not carry a tune or sing in tune live for the life of her, in studio with all the machinery she sounds ok and her songs can be catchy, outside of there she's just an entertaining moving billboard for pushing products and basically a “machine” like Britney Spears was and is…

With all the nakedness promoting this album what will she do for the next album? Playboy? She'll turn out like Janet Jackson…  who's used “sex” for her much of her music/albums since decades ago and now she's outdone all the “sexness” out of her that's why her last 2 albums didn't do so well… At least Janet has real talent, not the strongest of voices however a real star and a legend. Will Rihanna say that in 10yrs from now?

See Beyonce wins because she does have REAL talent, puts on an incredible show and can SING in addition to being beautiful.. she does have something to support her relevancy that will last a while… Rihanna on the other hand has a long ways to go, that doesn't mean she won't get better and have real longevity she just might… lets hope it won't all be about “sex” and "sexuality, we've seen her completely naked, nothing new or more to see…

That said she has a HOT body and is beautiful of course and I like her interviews, she's blunt and articulate, if she goes on to act, model and spread here entertainment chops across the board she'll do ok.

Is Janet Jackson dating her body guard? People Magazine certainly is reporting implying so…

He's a fine looking guy for sure...... an upgrade from Jermain Dupri…the rumors are going around beyond People magazines report that he's MORE than a bodyguard for Janet, that they've been spotted getting cozy everywhere.......... well they do look good together… but until Janet confirms which will probably never happen (remember she was married for 15yrs and no one outside her close family and friends knew?) we'll keep this as a maybe relationship… I hope she's happy…
