Usher's "Mommy Dearest" Issues Cause Album Release Delay #3! Loses His Last Mojo?

Usher’s “Raymond vs Raymond” album release has been pushed back to March 30th. This is the 3rd or 4th delay… the reason? Why, Mommy Dearest Jonetta Patton, who came back to manage Usher after he ended his marriage to his 2 children's mother Tameka Raymond to please the public and his mother, decided to quit once again as his manager because allegedly Usher newest “older” arm piece Grace Miguel had ideas for Usher's album release or something....... his mother didn't think much of that so decided to hightail out of there once again.

All this is according to the NY Daily News:

“She walked away from the project because Usher had his girlfriend [and former Def Jam executive] Grace Miguel was all in the mix,” says the source. “She felt as though if she didn’t end things when she did, it would permanently affect their personal relationship,” continues the source. Usher had apparently declared that he would manage himself, with the help of Miguel, but the label felt that “there was chaos in the camp.”

Usher is a grown man, yet his mommy dearest wants FULL control of her son's career and no say from anyone else; girlfriend, wife or otherwise. Usher having been in the music business for long at the end of the day decides and has to agree on any advise, suggestions from management, label, family etc no? I suspect Beyonce, Jay-Z and others have management but at the end of the day they make their own decisions on what they want to do. Usher's mom can surely do her job even with others involvement without 100% say no?

This story for us reads for something much bigger; Usher and his relationship with his momager. Does Usher's mom want full control of her grown son so much so that she wants or has a say on his women and what those women are allowed to say and not to say on her son's life and work? Would her ideal women for her son be the ones that are the trophy girlfriends or wives? The look pretty and say nothing kind? The evidence so far reads this way, Jonetta liked Chilli – who by the way IS the same age as Tameka Raymond and HAD a child when she and Usher started dating. Did Jonetta like Chilli more because she didn't offer her opinions on Usher's career? or was it that she was deemed prettier or “lighter skinned” than Tameka hence more ideal? Clearly Usher loved Tameka some to be with her, to have married her, and fathered 2 kids with her within 2 years, I mean he wasn't blinded and forced to father those two kids was he? Or did he “fall accidently” into Tameka twice leading to kids being born?

Grace Miguel is the 3rd OLDER woman for Usher, apparently she too has 2 children … and is “light skinned” as AA's like to call it, so what's the common thread?

Tameka being a stylist to the artists for more than 15 years, must have had thoughts on how Usher could do things, Usher's mom hated that, so much so she refused to attend her only son's wedding, severed her relationship with her son that even with 2 grandchildren, she still could not accept Usher's wife, leading Usher to choose to leave his wife and kids for his career or was it for his mother?… In the process throwing Tameka Raymond under the bus for good measure… for the sake of sales… “Papers” anyone? I done turned into the man that I never thought I'd be.

Really? So once again because of Grace........ Usher has chosen to “lose” his mother.. again? What does that say about Usher and what he thinks of his mom? or what he truly wants? Might Raymond vs. Raymond now speak to him vs his mother as opposed to him vs his ex-wife or him vs himself?

Grace is claimed to be a music industry executive (how good or not is not relevant here), of course she has clearly spoken up about her “ideas” and again Usher's mom hates that so she quits again. 2 out of 3 makes a pattern, that shows the problem lies with Usher and his relationship with his momager, she's unwilling to let go of her grown son and I suspect guilt's her only son by quitting him any time she doesn't like his choices, that guilt leads Usher to end up going back to his mother to please her and the cycle continues. Is he ever going to come out from under his mother and her wishes to be his own grown ASS man?

Will Usher man up or will he remain a man child? At this point people can't blame Tameka or Grace or any other woman in his life; Usher can and should make his own choices on advise he gets and what to do with it for his career.

All that said, Raymond vs Raymond leaked fully a few weeks go, its not the standout album it could have been, at least not to Usher's previous standards, its not doing well, not getting the buzz he and his label could have wished for, could that be the driving the delays? The first single, “Papers,” which was released last September, hyped using his “divorce” and throwing his children's mother under the bus in the process, only reached No. 31 on the Billboard Hot 100, was quickly down graded to a “buzz single” buzz indeed it was but not for the reasons they thought, ended up with a negative effect..... the label then released, “Hey Daddy (Daddy’s Home)” (video below) which is so far not doing exceptionally well yet, and next will be “More.”

Lastly is Usher still viewed as “hot” or “sexy” anymore, if yes those women and men aren't coming out in full force to support his music just yet. Does that mean he's lost his final mojo? What would he need to do to get his mojo back?

Beyonce: I Performed For The GOOD Son Of A Dictator/Terrorist Not The Other Evil One!

Lady Beyonce has been catching some heat, critisism for her New Years performance for the son of Mouammar Kadhafi in St. Barts.

Mouammar Kadhafi is the dictator president of Libya who the US views and has pegged for being and aiding terrorists. Check out his Wiki if you want to read more about his brutal ways. Kadhafi has several sons, one of them is Moutassim Bilal “Hannibal” Gaddafi he is certifiably insane, as in evil in the same vain as Saddam Husein's sons were, terrorising women, beating them up, breaking international rules where his dad steps in and bails him out by threatening to withhold contracts and such…etc.

Anyways, Bee was paid upto $2mil to perform at a restaurant for a party hosted by one of the Kadhafi son's since she's been getting heat for that today her ~~father~~ manager made her PR team clap back on those accusations with this statement.

The party in St. Bart’s on New Year’s Eve, with Beyoncé in performance, was hosted by Muatsim-Billah Gaddafi, not his brother Moutassim Bilal “Hannibal” Gaddafi, as reported in the press.

Her agents and management firm made the decision to confirm the private performance. The annual party had a long history of booking internationally known artists both American and foreign for events around the world, including Cannes.

Past performers in St. Bart’s have included Timbaland, Enrique Iglesias and Mariah Carey. Guests at this year’s party included singer Usher, former BET CEO Bob Johnson, actress Lindsay Lohan and music industry vets, Russell Simmons, Kevin Liles and L.A. Reid.

Translation; yes we got money to perform for a maybe terrorist but to be clear it was the “good” son of a terrorist, not the “evil” one..... and anyways Bee's booking team booked her for it, she only agreed to do it or was she forced to do it? moreover, well, Mariah has done it and Enrique did too..... so there can't be that bad.

Oh well, its done can't be undone, people should move on to other things.

New Years Performances! Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas & more

Rihanna rocked a 2 Million dollar New Year’s Eve Concert In Abu Dhabi

RiRi ~~sang~~ performed for over 10,000 fans who had paid $110 each to crowd onto the lawns outside Abu Dhabi's Emirates Palace to watch the two hour gig.

During the concert, RiRi sang all her big hits, including SOS, Don't Stop The Music and Hate That I Love You, she closed the show with her mega-hit Umbrella.

It also seems RiRi's Rated R is doing quite alright sales wise; the album sold 209k worldwide this past week bringing the album sales to the 1 million mark, having been out for only five weeks thats quite the accomplishment given that the singles she's released so far didn't do as well as her ealier album singles did. Her next single is rumored to be “Rude Boy”.

Lady Gaga's had a New Year's party in Miami that outsold all other celeb bashes according to the NYpost.com. Well Duh, LG is currently THE HOTTEST act in town so that's to be expected for now until someone else emerges in a few months? a year?

Anywho, LG's party had all the usual young Hollywood in attendance that don't warrant mentioning here..... Gaga sang 4 of her mega hits that included Bad Romance from her Fame Monster album

She is special. Quite EXTRA.

Beyonce also had her own 2 million dollar(?) performance at Nikki Beach Restaurant on St Barts for the Roman Abramovich's party which apparently for the Son of Libyan Leader Muammar Gaddafi.

Among the crowd watching Bey's show were her husband Jay-Z, Usher, and Jon Bon Jovi.

Back in NY Black Eyed Peas with Fergie, Keri Hilson, Robin Thicke performed at Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Years Eve party

Keri Hilson sang her new single “I Like” as well as performing her two hit singles “Turnin’ Me On” and “Knock You Down”,

Black Eyed Peas performed their hit “Meet Me Half Way” and Robin Thicke sung “Sex Therapy”.

Seems most stars spent their New Years in St. Barts, Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z partied the new year in amongst other stars like Usher.

Beyonce looks beautiful, radiant even, her hair is on point, she's glowing. I see Usher standing on the side like a stan for Beyonce, lol.

Mr Hudson has been Kanye West's “project” in terms of getting Mr. Hudson hooked up in the entertainment industry and working with some of the hottest music stars like Jay-Z; if this song and video is any indication of what is to be, I LIKE it!

I love this song, Jay and Hudson sound great and the video works quite well.

I'm surprised at how much I've loved this new Jay-Z album. He's really good.
