Beyonce Knowles Empire Rattled?

People Magazine is running this story as their BUZZ story of the day; that Beyonce‘s dad’s troubles that include cheating on his wife, illegitimate babies, divorce, in addition to Kelly Rowland & Michelle Williams firing Matthew Knowles and his company Music World as their manager respectively as being the reason Beyonce's empire is rattled:

Over the past few months, Beyoncé's father and manager, Mathew Knowles, 58, has been coping with personal and professional drama – including a divorce, a reported paternity suit, and now, the departure of one of his biggest clients.

On Tuesday, singer Michelle Williams, 29, one-third of Destiny's Child, announced she was leaving Knowles's company, Music World Entertainment. “From my time in Destiny’s Child to my solo career, I am grateful for everything Mathew and his team has done for me,” she said in a statement. “We've shared great success together. However, as I move in a new direction in my career, I felt it was time. I wish Mathew Knowles and the Music World Entertainment family all the best.”

Knowles's camp tells PEOPLE: “Michelle is a gifted artist. Her contribution to the Music World family with Destiny's Child and as a solo artist was extraordinary. The decision to part ways is amicable and we wish her success with her future endeavors.”

Build Up to Exit

According to an insider, the singer's departure did not come as a surprise to Mathew and his camp. “They were like, ‘Good for her.’ They knew that things were going on with him and that things [in his personal life] were going to be revealed. There's been a build-up to this.”

Last year, Kelly Rowland, 28, the third member of Destiny's Child (who, as a teen, lived with Knowles and his wife, Tina), also left the company.

“Beyoncé has kind of distanced herself from her father too,” adds the insider. "A lot of his personal stuff was overshadowing what was being done for Michelle. She got fed up and decided it was time to move on.”

In October, Knowles was reportedly named in a paternity suit filed by a women in her late 30s who was six months pregnant. Mathew Knowles had no comment on the reported paternity suit. (The legal papers are sealed to protect the baby.)

The following month, Tina, 56, filed for divorce after 29 years of marriage.

“The decision to end our marriage is an amicable one. We remain friends, parents, and business partners,” the couple said in a statement in December, when the new became public. “If anyone is expecting an ugly messy fight, they will be sadly disappointed. We ask for your respect of our privacy as we handle this matter.”

So far, Knowles’s personal issues have not negatively impacted his company’s success: Billboard magazine named Music World the top imprint label of 2009.

Meanwhile, Beyoncé is laying low. In fact, she told USA Today that she has no plans to record new music anytime soon.

“It's definitely time to take a break, to recharge my batteries,” said the singer, 28, who will perform at the Grammys on Jan. 31, where she is nominated for 10 awards. “I'd like to take about six months and not go into the studio. I need to just live life, to be inspired by things again.”

Ummm...... little over dramatic this story is, no? Well yes, drama is going on in this family, the shine is coming off fo their “perfect family” but is Beyonce's empire anymore rattled now because of this than it was, say 11 months ago? Of course with all this drama, Beyonce's decision to take a 6 months semi-haitus (I say semi because WE ALL KNOW she will be doing something or other during that time) makes it seem as though she's seeding the spotlight because of this drama as opposed to perhaps just taking the time to relax and perhaps have some child(ren) with her husband?

Whatever the case, good for Beyonce for taking a break however mini it is.

On that much kudo's for Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams for finally making a clean break from Matthew Knowles & his Music World, he concentrated on Beyonce and did the minimum he could for Kelly and Michelle now they take over on their own to chart their own course wonder how that will work out…

Do you think Kelly and Michelle will now be successful since they've booted Matthew Knowles as their manager?

Beyonce gets HEATED, her parents Tina & Matthew Knowles confirm divorce

Beyonce is expanding her brand and purse by launching a new fragrance called Heat in February 2010 that has notes of red vanilla orchid, magnolia, neroli and blush peach; a heart of honeysuckle nectar, almond macaroon and crème de musk, and a drydown of giant sequoia milkwood, tonka bean and amber.. Here's what she had to say to WND about it:

“This was my first time starting from scratch, although I’ve worked with a few other fragrance projects,” said Knowles, who has also been the face of Tommy Hilfiger’s True Star and Giorgio Armani’s Diamonds. “Everything, from the bottle design to the name and the ideas for the commercials — that’s me. When I commit to something, I do it 100 percent, and I’ve never had [creative control over a fragrance] until this project. I learned a lot of great things from the past — but I always asked myself, ‘If I could have my own scent, what would it be?’ I wasn’t worried about deadlines. It could have taken me three, four, however many years — this was my first fragrance, and I wanted to make sure that it was something I would love forever.”
“I’m so happy with it,” she said during an exclusive interview with WWD. “I’ve been working on it for a while now. I was on tour for a year, and I have meet-and-greets with fans. I’ve never in my life gotten so many compliments. Coty has their own testing, but that was my testing! The fans loved it. They were like, ‘I love that, I’m getting that, why isn’t it out right now? I need it!” said Knowles with a laugh.
“A lot of my performances have had fire involved, so we thought ‘Heat.’ Also, red is one of my favorite colors, as is gold,” she noted; both colors frame the bottle. “So then we thought of making the bottle look like it’s on fire. I love antique bottles — my mother had a collection of them when I was growing up. I wanted something with an antique yet modern feeling. Even with my wardrobe, I always try to find things that have a little bit of something vintage, yet still timeless and classic. The bottle, I felt, was a great mixture of the two.”

The bottle is red and gold, her fave colors, and it is supposed to look like it is on fire and both vintage and timeless. The Beyoncé Heat lineup includes eaux de parfum in three sizes — 1 oz. for $39; 1.7 oz. for $49, and 3.4 oz. for $59 — as well as a 6.8-oz. Gold Sparkling Body Lotion for $24.

Industry insiders expect this fragrance will be a $100million venture…you can read the full interview at WWD

Say what you will about Beyonce you have to give it to her and her management team for how smart and hard they work on Beyonce's business and Brand. Good for her.

In other news here parents have released a press statement to AP confirming their divorce

“The decision to end our marriage is an amicable one. We remain friends, parents, and business partners,” the couple said in a statement provided to The Associated Press. “If anyone is expecting an ugly messy fight, they will be sadly disappointed. We ask for your respect of our privacy as we handle this matter.”

Even if it were to get messy i'm sure they will keep it quiet and outside of the press, thats a good thing.

Beyonce's parents Tina and Matthew Knowles divorce?

Bossip is reporting exclusive news that Beyonce's parents are divorcing. Bossip writes:

Tina Knowles officially filed for divorce from her husband Matthew Knowles.

According to a reliable source Tina, whose name was filed as Celestine under court documents, has decided to finally end her marriage with Matthew. As of now the court documents aren’t available to view due to confidentiality but were filed early last month and our source assures us it’s a go.

Has Tina Knowles decided she's finally had enough of Matthews cheating ways? Its always been rumoured Mathew was poking his manhood in many other women behind his wife's back, a few months ago one of his “mistresses” filed a parternity suit against Mathew, if it all had been untrue Mathew would have been loudly threatening to sue for defamation and denying the whole thing… he never did and that's as good as proof its true since Mathew has never been known to be quiet about any media reports about him or his kids/family.

Divorce is never easy for any family, perhaps this is for the best? Who knows, I hope the 3 sisters, Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Solonge Knowles are doing ok amidst all this drama.
