The beauty that is Sade and her band premiered a Sophie Muller-directed video for their 1st single “Soldier of Love,” today, the single shares the same title as their upcoming album.

This is Sade's first video in 8 years:

Sade reunited in 2008 at Peter Gabriel’s Real World studio for the very first time after wrapping the Lover’s Rock tour in 2001. In a series of fortnightly recording sessions, they sketched out materials for a new album which, they all felt, was probably their most ambitious to date.

“I never want to repeat myself,” lead singer Helen Folasade Adu says. “And that becomes a more interesting challenge for us the longer we carry on together.”

“Soldier of Love” will be in stores February 8th.
