“Amour,” the French word for love, has been voted the most romantic word in the world by language experts beating out “amore,” Italian for love, “Bellissima,” which is both Italian and Spanish for “very beautiful,”, and “tesoro,” which is both Italian and Spanish for “treasure”
The linguists voted Japan‘s “watakushi-wa anata-wo ai shimasu,” as the least romantic-sounding way to say, “I love you” in any language, ahead of the Welsh “rydw i’n dy garu di”
Interesting. Amour for me represents that old beautiful romance, the sunset/sunrise airy feel of love and romance, long courtships, flowers, long romantic walks, long love letters..... Amore on the other hand gives me the hot Latin thrusting sort of love, fast, fiery and exciting the kind you see in a paso doble dance…
If you had a vote what would have been your choice?
Happy Valentines Day.

Hi there, sorry for the activation problem, I just checked and didn't find your name in my user list, I get spammed quite a bit because of that I have to personally activate each account. Did you register by a different name? Please email me your details and I'll set up an account for you. Thanks for your patience.
